YL Leader Weekend

We spent a weekend with our friends from all over Germany - some who had come from as far as northern Germany (6 hr drive or more) to spend a weekend learning about why we serve and how they can get involved serving with Young Life in Europe! We had a great time in community, teaching, vision, worship, prayer, and just having fun together.




We took a trip to the Olympic Tower in Munich to get a "bird's eye view" of the city.
Here we are at morning devotionals by the lake. This group from Stuttgart, Heilbronn, Hannover, Berlin, Nuernberg and Ravensburg are so great. They are looking to figure out how and why they can serve in God's kingdom. Nothing is more energizing for me than to spend time with these leaders, who will shape the church on this continent in the future! Meghan cooked, cleaned, and cared for all of our stomachs as I lead the training sessions. Our Munich community pitched in to help us - and we pulled it off as a team.
