Jeremy at gymnastics
This is Jeremy at his weekly gymnastics class called Turnen. It's at the local sport center, here in Starnberg, each Wed afternoon & Thurs morning.
The "class" is really just an open playtime for kids up to 3 yrs old in a gym filled with really fun equipment. Jeremy absolutely loves it! He gets to climb, crawl, swing, jump and slide for an hour:) They set up obstacles that are fun, but also challenging, like a thin ramp they have to scurry up in order to jump off onto the big, soft cushion below.
Jeremy bursts into the gym like he owns the place and meets new friends each week. He is Extremely friendly and is always saying, "Hallo!" to each child near him. Last week he pulled a tiny little girl into the "peek-a-boo" cubby that has a lid so mom's can play the game with their kids inside. After he pulled her in with him, we closed the lid, only to open it and find him hugging and kissing the little girl to pieces! Me and the other mom laughed, but I think that little girl will be avoiding the cubby and maybe Jeremy:)
Each week the class begins and ends with a song. All the kids and parents form a circle and sing together while acting out the song. By "all the kids," I mean all But Jeremy. You see, Jeremy loves music SO much, that he can't contain himself. It's somewhat difficult, since the teacher asks - or sort of demands - that all of us be standing still, with our child standing directly in front of us before we can begin the song. Luckily, she has seemed to embrace Jeremy's joy-filled celebration at the start of the song. I caught the tail-end of his one-man-party* on video to share. Notice, I'm chasing him around the circle... that's usually how it is. He's so awesome!
