At the Zoo in Munich

So, we ventured out as a family of 4 for the 1st time! The Zoo in Munich was Amazing. The animals were Not in cages and we made our way around the beautiful park observing them in natural settings. I wasn't uncomfortable until we saw a cheetah about 25 feet away with only a (seemingly) small water barrier between us! >>>scary. We saw Giraffes, Monkeys, Rhinos, Pumas, Lions and many more up-close! At one point the lions starting roaring & it sounded like something out of a Jurassic Park movie! -it really made my hair stand on-end. I now see the story of Daniel, protected in the den of lions for a night, in a whole new way> Unbelievable* It was a great day and Jeremy had the most fun of all ~ watching the penquins diving in & out of the water and getting to tear around in a petting-zoo full of mt. goats, sheep and baby deer!
